Scottish Sea Glass Jewellery made with Sea Glass collected from the banks of Loch Ness
Loch Ness Sea Pottery Sterling Silver Necklaces
Sea Pottery is very uncommon to find on the shores of Loch Ness. It can range from very patterned to plain but every piece is always wonderfully different.
As we make all of our Necklaces with Sea Glass or Pottery which has been submerged, tumbled and shaped by the great Loch Ness, we believe that each piece has the energy of a vast Loch encapsulated within it making them beautifully energised and very special indeed.
As Loch Ness and Mother Nature has done a spectacular job of turning discarded pottery into beautiful pieces of Sea Pottery, over what could be hundreds of years, We only use high quality Sterling silver to ensure that each piece has the setting it deserves.
Please remember, that Sea Pottery has been shaped and etched by nature, so is perfectly imperfect in every way.
Sarah & Quintin Smith
Creators and Designers
Along with our 3 little Nessie hunters, we search the banks of Loch Ness for beautiful pieces of sea glass, keeping one eye open for the Loch Ness Monster - Nessie herself.
We love the natural state that the Sea Glass is found, reminding us of the power and beauty of our amazing oceans, lochs and rivers.
Each piece was once discarded as rubbish and has now been shaped by the power of Mother Nature.
In recycling these into beautiful pieces of jewellery, We do not artificially change them or alter the shape in any way, except to give them a clean using good old fashioned soap and a toothbrush and drill a hole if needed.
Sea glass in its natural state can range from incredibly frosted looking to clear and this makes each piece very individual indeed.
Most pieces of sea glass We use have tumbled in the depths of Loch Ness for years, making them perfectly imperfect and who knows, perhaps touched by the famous Loch Ness Monster - Nessie herself.
We are incredibly lucky to live near Loch Ness but also have access to some amazing rocky beaches and alcoves and as such, occasionally we treasure hunt on other local Scottish beaches.
We only use Sea Glass that we have collected ourselves and in the items description, you will see when and where it was found.
Since we started our business in April 2019, We have been lucky enough to have won four Small Business Awards for our work, including the SBS Award chosen by Dragons Den’s Theo Paphitis and are incredibly proud to be Registered Members of the Guild of Jewellery Designers and Shop Scotland.
